God's Simple Plan of Salvation
FIVE THINGS EVERY PERSON NEEDS TO KNOW
1. You are a sinner.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
2. There is a price to pay for your sin.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
3. Only Jesus could pay the price for your sin.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in
that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
4. Salvation is a gift that God wants to give you.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life .
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that
heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting
life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death
unto life.
5. You must personally receive Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name
of the Lord shall be saved.
If you will pray a prayer similar to the one that
follows God will hear and save you right now:
Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I
believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I
am willing to turn from sin and I now invite Jesus Christ to come into
my heart and life as my personal Savior. Amen.
If you just now received Jesus Christ as your
personal Savior, please e-mail us and let us know of your decision. We
will attempt to find a good Bible believing, Bible preaching church for
you to attend. Please read the article below titled WHAT IS NEXT?
So that you will know what you need to do now that you are a child of
God.

WHAT IS NEXT ?
Your decision to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is the
most important decision that you have ever made. Today you chose to
dwell with Christ in heaven for eternity. Praise the Lord!
However, the Christian life is filled with adversity as well as
blessing. To insure victory over sin and to live the abundant life in
Jesus Christ, what you do next is very important.
WHAT THE LORD WANTS YOU TO DO NOW THAT YOU ARE A CHILD
OF GOD.
• Find a good Bible believing, Bible preaching church.
The first step in learning more about God’s Word is to attend
both Sunday services and the mid-week prayer service.
• Read your Bible everyday.
Begin with the Gospel of John in the New Testament and the book
of Proverbs in the Old Testament; both books will help you grow in
the Lord.
• Pray everyday.
God wants you to spend time alone with Him. He longs to
communicate with you through prayer.
Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and
supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto
God.
• Publicly profess your faith in Christ.
The best way to make public your decision is to walk the aisle
during the church invitation.
Matthew 10:32
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I
confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
• Follow the Lord in Scriptural water baptism.
Read Acts 8:26-39.
• Tell others how to be saved.
Romans 10:9-11
10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved.
10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and
with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall
not be ashamed.
WHAT THE DEVIL WILL DO TO DISCOURAGE YOU.
• The Devil will try to make you feel unworthy of the free gift of
salvation.
You will never be required to pay the price of sin because Jesus
washed your soul as white as snow (Isaiah 1:18).
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your
sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be
red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
You can never lose your salvation. When Jesus shed His blood
on Calvary, God the Father accepted His sacrifice for all of
your sin ( I Peter 3:18; I John 1:7).
3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for
the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the
flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have
fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son
cleanseth us from all sin.
Don’t listen to Him; instead listen to God’s Word.
• The Devil will bring up your past to discourage you.
When you were saved, God gave you a new life, a fresh start, and
a clean record in heaven. When God forgives, He forgets.
(Psalm 103:12; II Cor. 5:17)
103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he
removed our transgressions from us.
5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old
things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Don’t listen to Him; instead listen to God’s Word.
• The Devil will try to make God seem like He is far away and
really does not care about you (Gal. 3:26).
For ye are all the children of God by faith
in Christ Jesus.
Our bodies literally become the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit
(I Cor. 6:19-20).
6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy
Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your
own?
6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in
your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Don’t listen to Him; instead listen to God’s Word.
• The Devil will want you to live a defeated Christian life.
He does not want you to be Christ-like. (Romans 12:1-2;
Romans 6:13; I Cor. 10:13)
12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable
unto God, which is your reasonable service.
12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by
the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of
unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those
that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of
righteousness unto God.
10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to
man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted
above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way
to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
We praise the Lord you have found Jesus Christ as your personal
Savior. If we can be of any help to you, please contact us. God bless
you and keep you.
